Starting point
Several servers, a dozen containers, distributed services — and no single place showing whether everything is running. Off-the-shelf tools are either oversized or fail to cover ban lists, certificate expiry and container control in one view.
Solution
A tool showing exactly what matters day to day: ban status, certificate countdown, traffic with geographic attribution, allow and block lists, plus container control through a hardened execution path. Alerts arrive as instant messages.
Outcome
In daily use for the server landscape it monitors, and since July 2026 across several machines: a host with no inbound access pushes its own readings to the collector instead of being polled. It also demonstrates the infrastructure this website runs on.
